Deck the Halls

This weekend we spent a little time decorating outside. I love to help & climb on the ladder!

The Hits Keep Coming...

I was asking Mom & Dad for something in a not very nice way (basically demanding it & throwing a tantrum)
Mom said “ Anders you need to calm down, use your words & say PLEASE”.
I replied “I can’t say that word, it’s too hard to say please”.

Recently Mom & I went shopping at Tuesday Morning with Auntie Anna & picked up a few fun new toys. One of my favorites was a chain saw.
When Dad got home, I was super excited to show him my new toy. I tracked him down in the bathroom doing some “paper work”
And said ”Dad, You got one of these”?
Dad said he didn’t. I told him “He could use mine whenever he wanted – OK DAD?”

We have been looking back at old photos from when I was little.
There is one photo in particular that caught my eye… I was being held by one of Dad’s Paramedic friends – Sammy.
A few days later while Mom & I were running errands I asked her about the paramedic with white hair & moustache holding me.
“Why was he holding me?” I asked
Mom replied “Well, he probably wanted a few cuddles from a cute little boy”
“and I’m the bomb diggity right?” I asked
Mom almost ran off the road laughing so hard.

Many of you know we recently lost Auntie Lynn – it has been a very sad time for us & we miss her.
Mom & Dad try to explain the God thing, but I really don’t get it.
On the way to the church I asked “Will God be there?”
Mom Said “No, God is in Heaven, but his spirit is there.”
I asked “He forgot it there?”

Also on the way to the church Mom said “There will be some cousins there to play with… Carson, Olivia, Cody & Brian…”
“And Uncle Todd? Can I play with him?” I asked
“He is funny, he is so funny, he dumps me over like a dump truck.” I exclaimed

On another day just before Thanksgiving while Mom & were headed to the Mall we were discussing our upcoming week.
“Monday, Tuesday & Wednesday you will go to school.”
“On Thursday we will go to Auntie Jan’s House.”
“Friday & Saturday we will be at Grandma & Grandpa’s House.” She said
“That’s my Best Place!” I replied back to her.

While waiting for my play date with Carson I asked, "Mom, What is Carsons' Mom's name?"
"Annie"
"Why?" I asked.
"Because that is the name her Mom & Dad Gave her. Just Like Daddy & I picked out your name."
"I picked out my own name." I said
"You did??? Where did you get it from?" Mom asked
"Chicago!" I told her.

On Black Friday, Dad & I got up early & we let Mom sleep in a bit.
It must have been a rough morning on Dad, because once Mom woke up, Dad plopped down on the couch with a sigh.
"Don't worry Dad, I'm Leaving for Tomah soon." I said.

This week at School we had a history lesson about the first Thanksgiving.

We made America Indian head dresses & American Indian Necklaces.

We got to pick our Indian name.

You can call me "Giggling Goose"
Or "Giggling Pilgrim"

First Snow Fall of the Season

This weekend we had the first snow. I loved it - I was so excited to go out & play in it. I mean really excited that I even wanted to help shovel & sweep the snow off the deck! Love, Anders

Lost Photos of Summer - The State Fair

Hi all,
Here are some photos of me at the MN State Fair - it was a very fun day. First we checked out the barns. Now I know I'm a city kid, and I've been to a few farms, But I've never seen a pig! Another cool thing Mom & I did was ride the Space Needle - we could almost see our house.
The State Fair is a busy place - mom & I held on to hands all day (I didn't want to loose her).
We stopped here & there to grab a bite to eat or a drink. Sweet Martha's Cookies were my Favorite!

Then we hit the rides.

Lastly, we went to the JD Pavilion & checked out a few tractors.

Mom said I listened so good, that I could pick out a toy - so I got a JD weed whacker!
For the record, this was the first & only day I have listened good.

Redecorating

Remember this photo from in May when I got my Big Boy Bed?

Well I have taken it upon myself to redecorate my room. And take my letters/name off of my wall.
When Mom asked my why...
I told her it was because..."I already know my name!" Silly Mommy!

Mini Horse & Fire Station

Today after Tumbling I met up with Blake & Bella at Dad's work to check out the fire trucks. Dad showed me the "Jaws of Life"
And I got to try on a fire fighters helmet.But the coolest things was we got to meet "Zeus" the police dog!

Then we drove to Blake & Bella's house to ride their mini pony "Daisy". First we had to brush her.
She is so soft & cuddly.
Blake rode her first to get the "ants out of her pants"... What ever that means.
Then I got to ride her.

Then Bella hopped on.
It was a beautiful fall day for a mini horse ride & I'm turning into a cowboy!

More funny things I say - The Fall edition

“Dad I want to cuddle with you, you are soft.”

One night after school I took off my shoes & noticed I had a big hole in my sock.
“Mom, you have to sew this hole up.”
A few minutes later I said, “Actually, I just want a new pair of black socks.”

One night while cuddling with Mom I asked a bunch of questions.
“Mom, Why while do I need to sit out?”
“Sometimes you need to sit out to regroup after having a bad moment & calm down,” she said.
“But I don’t know how to calm down,” I said.
“Well, next time you sit out & need to calm down, you can count to 10 & take a breath between each number… one (breath) two (breath)…
“But teacher tells me not to talk when I sit out,” I said.
“Well, how about if you whisper when you count?”

The other night while in the tub I tooted.
Mom said” what was that?”
I said,” It was a burp, from my butt!”

“Mom, I want a necklace. I want a Batman, Spiderman, Buzz Lightyear, a dog & a dinosaur necklace. YAH - I want all the necklaces.”

One Sunday morning while Dad was making his famous eggs, he was adding bacon to the mix.
Mom, “You like bacon?” “Yes, I like bacon.”
Dad,”You like bacon?” “Yes, I like bacon.”
“I like bacon too. Guys, we all like bacon!”

On Halloween night I was more excited about staying home & handing out candy then going out & getting candy from the neighbors.

It was about 8:15pm and I asked “Are more kids coming Trick or Treating?”
Dad said, “Maybe a few more people are coming, but it’s getting kind of late Bud.”
“Well, Can we call people to come over Trick or Treating? Can we call Carson to come Trick or Treating?” I asked.
“Hon, it doesn’t quite work like that.” Dad said.
“Oh” I said.
