Ice Fishing on the Apple River

Hi All,  Yesterday was my first ice fishing experience.  I went with Mom, Uncle Brad & Auntie Kari.

 Mom thought I wouldn't last more than a half an hour, but we fished for almost 2 1/2 hours!

Drilling the holes with the auger was so cool.  We baited the hooks with little fish.  We used some tip-ups.

And did some jig fishing.  My cheeks got all rosie.

 We waited...

 And after just a few minutes, the flag from the tip-up flew up.  We all ran to the furthest hole to see what we caught.  Lucky us... We caught a 5 lb Northern.

 We fished for a while longer, but nothing was biting...

So we walked back to the shanty to relax & warm up.  The shanty had a TV & a fireplace.

On the way home from fishing we saw a Bald Eagle. We pulled the van over to take a quick photo.

Weekend fun with Cousins

Hi All, This past weekend I was in Tomah visiting Grandma & Grandpa & got to play with my cousins.

We chilled & watched CARS 2.

 Then we had a vigerous game of B-Ball in the hall.

 My Cousins make me laugh!

Usually when Mom wants to take my picture, she has to bribe me for my cuteness.  But when she was working on photos for her Birch Branch Wreathes, I was more than willing to help out (naked of course & with out any bribes). 

I wonder why she kept saying "Anders, come stand by me." 

Hooked On Emergency

Dad & I are hooked on Emergency.

We watch it almost every night thanks to Netflix.

January 15th, 2012

It was a pretty nice day out today, Mom & played outside this afternoon.

  The snow from yesterday melted & I was able to ride my tractor.

 We played a little Baseball... Already getting ready for the upcoming Twins season since the Packers lost today & will not be in the Super Bowl (Boo Hoo Hoo).

 Nice hit!

 And mowed the lawn.

 How many little boys get to pee outside in January in Minnesota???

My poor little stick horsey had an untimely accident last night while I was using it as my hockey stick.

Warm January Fun

Today we had another wonderfully warm January day (43 degrees).  I rode my tractor around the yard.

 Believe it or not, it got stuck in the snow... this is the only snow in our yard & the little tractor just couldn't get thru it :(

 We spent some time swinging too... Dad pushed me really really high on the swing.

 Saturday night we went to a Hockey Game.  I enjoyed sitting on the bleachers with Mom & Dad.

 But I LOVED standing up by the glass...

 Close to the action!

Also on Saturday, I had another skating lesson.  I was afraid of the ice after having a 2 week break due to the holidays.  But a really nice teacher came over & took me out onto the rug on the ice.  I actually had a lot of fun, smiled a ton & managed to "skate" on my own for a few feet.

We had such a busy Saturday, Mom & I slept until 8:30 on Sunday - what a treat!
