I have a little “owie” on my leg & I like to have a band-aid on it. I keep asking Mom for an “Air plane band- air” & she told me “ Anders, we have only have plain band-aids”. I said Yah, “Air Plane band-aids.”

This weekend we were at the mall doing some shopping. We were in JC Penney’s & were looking for an elevator. I was directing mom & told her “it should be right over here”.

Before we got to the mall we were making our “To Do list” (what ever that is). We had to also go to the Library. I told Mom, “I want to go to the Mall INSTEAD of the Library.” She was surprised by my use of the word instead & wonders where I’m learning all these words.

Did you know my Daddy is a Paramedic? He is… “His job is to take sick people to the Hospital. So if your toe hurts, or your back hurts, or your tummy hurts, he will take you to the hospital to feel better. It is his Job”. “My Job is to kick & play & hit”.

Mom’s been doing some spring cleaning & decorating. One day after nap, while still a bog groggy, I noticed she had new pillows. I comments on how “pretty the new pillows” were.

Last week I went to the Doctor to get my ears checked. I DID NOT want to go to the doctor, but Mom convinced me to go by letting me watch my John Deere Tractor video in the van while we drove to the clinic. Once we got there, I was very apprehensive about seeing the doctor. I did not want her to wear a mask or gloves or look in my throat or ears. When she came into our room, I was glad to see that she was not wearing a mask or gloves. She asked us a few questions & then said she needed to look in my throat & ears. I nestled into Mommy’s chest, but then she showed me her tiny flashlight that she was going to use. I said “I like Flashlights!” and I let her look my throat & ears like a big boy with no fuss.

As a family we play a little game… it’s called “Who’s Cuter?” I always win. I say “ Daddy is Jorgen, Mommy is Karla & Anders is Cuter!”

Tumbling

All winter long, Mom & I went to tumbling on Saturday Morning. We started out with a little stretching. Then we worked on the balance beam - sometimes I held on to Moms hand...
Other times I was able to do it all by my self.
We practice stepping over hurdles... I mean turtles.

I swing from the bars like a monkey.

Practice kicks on the vault.

And of course jump on the trampoline!

At the end of our session we sing a song, & clap for the kids getting an award.

Here I am getting an award (boy am I having a bad hair day!)

Ahhh Winter

Just as I was thinking it was spring & my Birthday was coming soon... Mother Nature dumped more snow on us. Which made me reminisce back to earlier this winter when I went sledding & played in the snow with my cousins Reid & Delaney.

This weekend was fun filled

This was a fun filled weekend...We went to the Library, went to the Mall (had another train ride), went on a nice long walk, Went to a party at Auntie Jan's house, went swinging & even grocery shopping.

train ride

I love the mall! Why? because there is a train ride at the mall. Grandpa & I rode on the train this weekend. It was so much run - I like to ride in the Caboose.

Today I was just not feeling like myself - so I stayed home with Daddy & watched TV on the couch.

SShhh...

One night Mom was toweling me off after bath, I buried my head into her shoulder & tried to take a nibble, but just bit her sweater. She pulled me away and asked "Did you just bite me?" "NO" I said. She asked me if I was lying... I replied with a ROAR "I'm a lion!"

One day while playing in the family room in the basement Mom & I were ruffle housing. She starting to nibble my ear I said "No Mommy, Don't eat me!"
She asked "Can I eat your toe?" "NO"
Can I eat your Tummy?" "NO"
"Can I eat your Biscuits?" "NO"
"Well, what can I eat she asked?" "You can eat a sandwich!" I said.

Recently, Mom was going to get a hair cut & Auntie Dawn was coming over to watch me for a bit. I asked mom if she was going to go to Brenda's for a hair cut (I go to Brenda too for my hair cuts). She said no, she was going to go to another lady & next time we would go together to get our hair cut by Brenda. I said "Next time we are in Tomah, we will get our hair cut." We then called Grandma, to tell her what I had just said... cuz Mom was so surprised that I remembered Brenda lived in Tomah. Grandma (who also lives in Tomah) asked where she lived? I said " Next to Billy's Barn" Which is technically accurate.


Tonight was a night full of comedy... On the way home from school, we saw a tow truck pulling a school bus.

I asked "Mom, where is the bus going?"
She said, "Probably to the garage to be fixed."
"Fixed??? It's broken???"
Yes, the motor is probably broken & need to be fixed."
"Oh, Artie will fix it!"
"Maybe Artie can fix it, but it might have to go to another garage to be fixed"
"Another garage? Why?"

"Because Artie Might not be able to fix a school bus, it's pretty big."

Tonight after going potty in the big toilet I was washing my hands in the bathroom sink & said to Mom "If I break this sink, then Uncle Todd will have to fix it."
