My Boat Drawing

I love to draw... Today I drew a boat. 

 I drew a really big motor.

 Just like the humungous moter Dad & I saw at the boat show a few weeks ago.

We were catching some big fish (Mom drew the fishing pole)

  Of course you need a smaller trolling motor up front.

 Finished!

Not much else to do on a cold day...

Goldie Gopher Ice Cream

Go to Allrecipes.com & look up "5 ingredient Ice Cream"  

We added food coloring to make it Goldie Gopher colors.

Delicious!!!

Makin' Jerkey

Dad got a new dehydrator for Christmas & 

We boys Just Love Jerky!!!

We also tried to dehydrate Strawberries & Pineapple to make fruit leather, 

but they turned out more like fruit chips.

I Love to Shovel!!!

Finally...

I titled this blog post "Finally" for 2 reasons.

1) I finally got around to blogging in 2014.

2) It was finally nice weather out & we got to spend some quality time outside this weekend (about 4 hours to be exact).

We went on our annual ice fishing excursion.  This year it was on Bear Trap Lake in Amery WI.

 We grilled out on the ice,

Hung out in the Shanty,

Made a snowman (Luckily there was another little boy there for me to play with)

 Got pulled on the sled,

 Pulled the sled (this was a work out in a foot of snow on the lake)

  & just had fun!

 We also made snow angles.

 Oh, by the way, the fish were NOT biting at all :(

Once we wrapped things up ice fishing, I got a quick ride on the snowmobile.  I absolutely love this thing.  My Quote of the day " I'm never getting off this machine!"

Ice Skating

Today for fun, our family went Ice Skating.  I fell a few times.

 But got back up every time & kept going!

 Daddy helped me

 I took a break to stop & watch some kids playing hockey a the next arena.  

I had so much fun & can't wait for skating lessons to start.
