We added food coloring to make it Goldie Gopher colors.

Makin' Jerkey

Dad got a new dehydrator for Christmas & 

We boys Just Love Jerky!!!

We also tried to dehydrate Strawberries & Pineapple to make fruit leather, 

but they turned out more like fruit chips.

Don't go crazy with the sprinkles!

We are in the middle of Christmas cookie mania at our house.

 

We made 2 batches of sugar cookie cut outs.

 

Rolling out the dough was tricky.

 

And I was getting flour all over my shirt... so I took it off!

I know I'm not supposed to eat the dough - but it was too good to not have a little bite! (the flour gave me away)

After baking came the decorating!!!  Mom frosted while I did the sprinkles.

 

 The turned out beautiful & delicious!

Gingerbread House

Tonight our family made a Gingerbread house.

  We bought a kit & followed the directions very carefully...

 It was really coming along nicely.

 Then it all crashed down. 
The weight of the candy & frosting must have been too much for it.

Chickens in a Hay Nest

The other night I had a fantastic idea for a before bed snack.  I asked mom to cut up a pickle. 

I placed these on top of shredded parmesan cheese in a bowl & made "Chickens in a Hay Nest".

Tie Dye Packer Cake

We're getting ready for tomorrow's big game.

 

We made a Tie Dye Packer cake &

decorated it food coloring with M & M's.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We should just call this a "Victory Cake".

because the Packers are gonna WIN!!!

Making Pickles

This weekend Mom & I made Pickles using this recipe.

 They were delicious!!!

Making a sandwich

This weekend I was too hungry to wait for Mom & Dad to cook dinner - so I took the initiative (big word) & started making my peanut butter sandwich.  It was delicious!

Red Velvet Cup Cakes

 A few days ago we made my favorite... Red Velvet Cupcakes!

I helped to mix them up

 Once they were baked & cooled, I helped frost them & add sprinkles. 

(For the record, I like to decorate shirtless).

Delicious!

PS: they have Red Velvet Pop Tarts now - also delicious!
