Chickens in a Hay Nest

The other night I had a fantastic idea for a before bed snack.  I asked mom to cut up a pickle.
I placed these on top of shredded parmesan cheese in a bowl & made "Chickens in a Hay Nest".

Dolphin Cruiser

After saving my money, selling some toys on Craig's list, using a coupon & using a little $$$ left on a gift card.  I was finally able to purchase the Lego Dolphin Cruiser.
I couldn't wait to start putting it together!
The details are amazing - They think of EVERYTHING
(even a toilet!)
I worked really hard on it - there were 612 pieces!
 Finally finished it :)

Children's Museum & the "White Room"

You may have heard there was this "White Room" at the Children's Museum.  Well ,by the time I got there to paint the walls - there wasn't much white space left.
But I still Left my mark!

Fire Station Open House

Hi All, On Saturday we had an impromptu Fire Station Open House at our place.  The house was the fire station.
Mom's Mini van was the fire truck.

We had games, hats, demonstrations on putting out fires & using the jaws of life. It wasn't advertised much, just a sign on our front yard.

We had 2 guests stop for the open house.  Rudy the neighbors dog didn't like the hat at all.  Matt, a neighbor's grandson ,stopped over for a bit - we played & had a fun practicing putting out fires.

CORN-Mazing

Back when the weather was a bit warmer we made the  trek to Shakopee for the Corn Maze.
There were pumpkins everywhere!!!  This place is huge - lets look at the map to see where we're going.  Actually there was so much fun stuff to do we ran out of time to even do the maze.

We started with a magic show then went to the EXTREME CORN PIT!  20' wide by 50' long & probably 2' deep.

I didn't hesitate to jump right in!

Later we moved on to the giant spider web.

Then to the petting zoo.

There was this really cool vintage fire truck there - I could have played on that thing all day!

But the PUMPKIN BLASTER was calling my name.
"MOM, I need more pumpkins!!!"
Back to the corn pit for a few tries on the rope swing before we headed back home.

What an amazing day!!!
