John Deere Pavilion - Moline

The John Deere Pavilion was the highlight of our road trip.  The day were were there they had a special Kids Day events planned.  We got there first thing in the morning & I started out riding the Gators (they had it set so you could only drive it in 1st gear for the city kids).
Inside the pavilion there was a ton for stuff to look at... history of JD, experimental equipment & more stuff for kids.  The mini farm yard was by far my favorite - I could have played there for hours.

John Deere's first tractor... the Waterloo Boy
A fellerbuncher (Do you even know what one of those are???)
 A really really big combine
Then we headed to the JD store to buy a few new toys...
Back at the hotel, I played with my new JD equipment.
Later in the day we went back for "Round 2"
(our hotel was only 2 blocks away - so it was good to take a break & have lunch).

Back at the Pavilion, there was a large outdoor sand box featuring JD construction equipment.
They had a cow for milking ( I actually squirted myself in the eye) HA HA!!!

There was a garden for planting & harvesting.
And a Petting Zoo,  with Baby pigs... they were so tiny & cute,
Mom wanted to bring on home (she said she would name him Bacon).
Dad's favorite part was the big barn fans with a water mister.

The John Deere Pavilion was an amazing place to visit for the family.
If any of you are interested in seeing some tractors,
next weekend is the Almelund Thrashing Show - It is a good time!

Rochester Children's Museum

On our Road trip to Moline, we made a pit stop in Rochester... to their Children's Museum.
Look at their cool water tower!
It was a lot of fun & they had a "Build a Car" with a ramp.

One ramp was bumpy...
Oh no, I'm loosing a wheel!
One ramp was smooth!
That darn wheel fell off again!
Let's race -
 Ready - Set - Go!

Love, Anders

Relay for Life

Hi - Friday Night Dad & I hung out a bit at the WBL Relay for Life... I was being shy for the photos... Mom had to bribe me with an Oreo Pop.

It was such a busy day at school earlier that day (Jammie day) that I was just too tired to walk a lap with Mom... So I went home with Dad, Grandma & Papa.

Thanks to all the people who helped out for such a great cause.

Camping & Marketfest

Hello, Sorry  I don't have any vacation pictures to share with you yet... we have just been so busy.
1) We've been camping  *** Shout out to Amber who is letting us borrow her camper ***
So what if we are only camping in our driveway - it is still so much fun!

 2) We went to Marketfest last night.  I had mini donuts & got to bounce off my energy.

Tonight I'll be supporting Mom & her team in the WBL Relay for Life.

Pudding Paint Play Date

Hi all, In between the water ski shows, we had a play date with some of my cousins.
What do you get when you mix vanilla pudding & food coloring?
Edible Body Paint!  What a great & messy outdoor activity on a hot summer day!
We just washed ourselves off when we were done. Yumm!

Mom can we go back?

Yes, that was the question I asked at 6:40am after going to the MN River Rats "Fantaski Island" show yesterday.   Not that I necessarily want to learn to water ski right away. (I told Mom I would learn to ski when I'm 10). I was most impressed by the speed boat that  had 3 engines!!!

It was a super hot day, but there was a light breeze. It is a free show, we just found a good spot & spread out our blanket.

Wow - look at that big ramp!

Let's look at the guys jumping the ramp again and do a flip ... Oh the precision, timing & skill! (and the boat pulling them has 3 motors... did I mention that?)
The Final Pyramid.   I call this "stacked people".
PS: Mom's co worker Amy is in the middle stack on the far left & she makes all the costumes too!
There was this cool machine called a fly board... I want to get one of these "fly up things" for Dad.
Hope to see you there today - there is a show at 3 & 7 & every Thursday Night!
