Anchor Inn on Cotton Lake 2013

Hi All, Sorry I've gotten a little behind in my blogging. 

This past weekend we were up at Cotton Lake at Aunt Jan & Uncle Mike's Cabin having a good time with all my cousins.

You may have already heard that Mom & Dad forgot my duffel bag of clothing at home, so a quick trip into town got me a new wardrobe.

We celebrated Brian's 11th Birthday



I LOVE THE PONTOON BOAT! I THINK I GOT 6 RIDES!



Paddle boating was a fun new adventure with Mom & cousin Jeffery.

Staying up late at the cabin was great - but some nights, I was just too tuckered out to keep my eyes open.





visit to Amery

Last weekend we drove to Amery, WI to see Uncle Brad & Auntie Kari & see Bob & Jackie (who I refer to Jack & Bobby).

We headed over for lunch, 4 wheeler rides & just to hang out.  Mom wanted me to experience seeing the sets of baby twin calves at Jack & Bobby's farm.  But I really wanted nothing to do with them.

When we pulled in to their yard, I saw Jack & Bobby's new camper...  It was love at first sight!  All I wanted to do was play in their high hitch (5th wheel) camper.

I did manage to hop out of the camper for a few minutes to get a tractor ride.

John Deere Pavilion - Moline

The John Deere Pavilion was the highlight of our road trip.  The day were were there they had a special Kids Day events planned.  We got there first thing in the morning & I started out riding the Gators (they had it set so you could only drive it in 1st gear for the city kids).

 Inside the pavilion there was a ton for stuff to look at... history of JD, experimental equipment & more stuff for kids.  The mini farm yard was by far my favorite - I could have played there for hours.

 Then we headed to the JD store to buy a few new toys...

Back at the hotel, I played with my new JD equipment.

 Later in the day we went back for "Round 2"

 (our hotel was only 2 blocks away - so it was good to take a break & have lunch).

Back at the Pavilion, there was a large outdoor sand box featuring JD construction equipment.

 They had a cow for milking ( I actually squirted myself in the eye) HA HA!!!

 There was a garden for planting & harvesting.

 And a Petting Zoo,  with Baby pigs... they were so tiny & cute,

Mom wanted to bring on home (she said she would name him Bacon).

Dad's favorite part was the big barn fans with a water mister.

 The John Deere Pavilion was an amazing place to visit for the family.
