2 weddings

In the past few weeks, we have had 2 weddings to go to.

The first was for Amy Jane & Mike at a beautiful outdoor pavilion.

Dad was the "wedding talker" & I thought it was boring.

 Aren't we a cute family?

 The Second wedding was for Amanda & Joe... Dad was the wedding talker again.


 

 It was at a cool warehouse boxing ring.

 I didn't go to the boring part, but made an appearance for the dancing!

 At 10:00 were were getting ready to leave & I said

 "I want to stay for another hour",

 but I fell asleep on the car ride home.

On both Sunday & Monday I went to a splash pad/playground.  It was fun... not too crowded & had interesting playground equipment.

 Then we went on an adventure walk & ended up down on the Mississippi River.

 I tossed a few rocks in the river.

 & we picked up a few rocks to take home.

Burnsville Fire Muster Sept 8th - Mark you calendar

Hope to see you all at the Burnsville Fire Muster

next weekend.

There will be a carnival, fire truck & water demonstration, kids workshops, music, pony rides & a big wheel race.

Parade is at 11 - see you there (bring your ear plugs)

I passed Swimming Lessons

This summer I did swimming lessons again, but this time I passed!!!

I had to:

blow bubbles

put face into water

front float for 5 seconds

back float for 5 seconds

flutter kick

front arm crawl

Plus we got to have a little fun at the end of class.

2012 corn crop - Papa's farm

This past weekend we went to visit Papa's farm. 

Here is a photo of his best corn crop back in July... 

 Here is a photo of his corn crop now - with no rain... it's all dried up.

 I ran around in the field a bit to check it out.

 I also had a fun time with Papa mowing off Billy's field.
