Merry Christmas

Don't go crazy with the sprinkles!

We are in the middle of Christmas cookie mania at our house.

 

We made 2 batches of sugar cookie cut outs.

 

Rolling out the dough was tricky.

 

And I was getting flour all over my shirt... so I took it off!

I know I'm not supposed to eat the dough - but it was too good to not have a little bite! (the flour gave me away)

After baking came the decorating!!!  Mom frosted while I did the sprinkles.

 

 The turned out beautiful & delicious!

Play date with Lacey

Two weekends ago, I had a play date with Lacey... we had a ton of fun playing together.

 

 Hopscotch

 Decorating the felt Christmas tree

 Playing kitchen & cooking beans

  

And making crafts including these angles.

I want Lacey to come over again to play!

Visit from Santa - 2013

Friday night guess who stopped by my house?

 

Yes, It was SANTA!

 

I was so excited to see him.  I was the first one to jump on his lap.  I told him I wanted a toy boat.

He gave me Despicable Me 2 DVD & coloring book

 Eli got some cool John Deere toy!

 Owen hopped on Santa's lap next.

 Dilly was next - he was not so happy to see Santa

 Elise either :(

 Alyssa & Ashley were last & they sat on Santa's lap together.

It was a great night... fun with cousins & an early visit from Santa.

Santa & Reindeer ornaments

Our tree is up & all decorated, ready for Santa to put presents under it.

 

These are actually ornaments we made last year - but they are just too cute not to share.

 

On the REINDEER, we took paper strips & rolled them.  

 On the SANTA, we took paper strips & folded them like an accordion.

My new buddy...

Mom bought him for Grandma,

but I love him so much I had to keep him.
