Sit N Spin

Hi all, this weekend I went to WI to visit family there. Mom bought me a SIT N SPIN from GW (That's Goodwill). As you can see, my cousins & I had a blast on it. Sorry the video quality isn't so great... it's from Mom phone. Here are a few more photo of me playing. "Papa" is making sure I don't fall off.

My First Hair Cut

This morning I went for my first hair cut. I was a little scared to get into the big chair, but soon realized there was nothing to worry about.

First the stylist sprayed my hair down with water.
Then she started trimming away...

I sat very still & just held onto my nuk tightly

The she showed me this trimmer that she was going to use around my ears.
I was not very fond of it, so Daddy helped hold my hand.

Then a lady came over with a bubble machine - I love bubbles!I did so good when I got home I got a cookie. I think I even surprised Mom & Dad with how good I was.

Because they are all gone. I look like a real boy now.

Ear surgery update

HI All,Just wanted to let you all know my ear tube surgery went well today. My Apt was at 10:45am, so I was not able to eat or drink anything this morning.

I had the same nurse as last time & she had to check a bunch of stuff out before surgery (check my oxygen, take my temp.) We then played in the waiting room for a bit.

Finally, they took us to this little room & the anesthesiologist put a little mask over my face to breathe this orange scented stuff. I did not fight as bad as Mom & Dad thought I would.

Doc put a new tube in my Right ear (he said it was all blocked up with a Jello like substance in there). He put a new tube in my Left ear too because it was almost ready to fall out. In just a few minutes, tubes were in & I was awake & Mom & Dad were there to take care of me.

I was a little dazed and confused until the drugs all wore off, but I was super thirsty & hungry & kept asking for a “cracker”.

I have a follow-up visit in 1 month. For the next 10 days I need to use ear drops to help prevent an infection.

Helicopters & Airplanes

Hi All, tonight we skipped music class & went to a local airport to check out a helicopter & some small airplanes.At first I was a little scared of this huge building with all these big machines.

But I soon was running all over the place... I just couldn't get over how big the hanger was. There had to be 20 planes in there! And the floors were clean enough to eat off of!

I checked out the tires. And the propellers - all were in good working order.The ambulance was pretty spiffy too.
I had fun - tomorrow I have my pre-op check up.
